FINAL SUBMISSION

18 Axonometric Drawings:

1. A process of interlocking connects two different forms, yet the resulting spaces are unpredictable, and the experience can be chaotic.

2. An iconic and unprecedented architecture should be shared with the rest of the public realm, to act as a catalyst and converge surrounding public spaces.

3. A harsh collision of axes and linearity emerges into a network of disoriented movement through the internal space.

4. Individual, unique entities can be arranged to work harmoniously to contribute to a whole.

5. The play between mass and void harnesses a harmonious relationship between internal and external spaces.

6. Simplification of exterior leads to an appreciation of the interior and the program structure.

Electroliquid Aggregation Drawings:

 Combination of 2 and 5.

2. An iconic and unprecedented architecture should be shared with the rest of the public realm, to act as a catalyst and converge surrounding public spaces.

5. The play between mass and void harnesses a harmonious relationship between internal and external spaces.

Electroliquid Aggregation: The interplay between mass and void in iconic and unprecedented architecture harnesses a harmonious relationship between internal and external spaces which act as a catalyst for the creation of public spaces.

Combination of 1 and 6.

IMAGES OF THE LANDFORM AND ARCHITECTURE:

The electroliquid aggregation depicts a tension between mass and void which harmoniously combines to create a public space. The large masses of the monument are representative of Daniel Libeskind's structures and are designed as framings of entranceways which correlate to the vast concrete masses which surround  small windows and hidden entrances in his buildings.

However, on the left of the monument displayed below, the tension between mass and void is introduced as void spaces are abundantly evident in the masses which levitate above the ground create a meeting space for students. These void spaces are representative of Hans Scharoun's designs which interplay mass and void spaces in balconies and windows to create a unique, open and liberating design.

Selected Textures:

Dark Texture: This texture relates to the electroliquid aggregation as there is a harmonious relationship between internal and external spaces.

Medium Texture: This textures relates to the electroliquid aggregations as it displays a transition from a great amount of void space to a more solid mass.

Light Texture: This light texture relates to the electroliquid aggregation as it displays a relationship between multiple void, blank spaces and darker, solid masses.

A meeting space is created by the interlocking nature and relationship between mass and void under the monument.

The meetings spaces created on the monument.

Furthermore, the monument also aims to capture the archaic decadence and traditional notion of monumentalism prominent in historical and timeless monuments. The size of the monument aims to dwarf the individual and thus engulf them in the sublimity of the architectural experience that is also created by the buildings of both Daniel  Libeskind and Hans Scharoun.
